Stabilize Health · Last updated 6 September 2026

Stabilize Health keeps your health record on your phone. There is no account to create, and what you log is not sent to us.

The short version. Everything you enter (symptoms, energy, flare days, medications and doses, lab values, measurements, cycle entries, notes) is stored in the app's own storage on your device. It is not uploaded to us.

Who we are

Stabilize Health is published by 8 O’Clock, LLC. You can reach us at help@8oclock.co.

No account, no sign-up

The app has no login screen. You never give us an email address, a name, or a password. There is no profile on our side to attach anything to.

Your health record

Everything you track stays in the app's private storage on your device: symptoms and severities, energy and pacing, flare days, notes, medications and doses, lab results, measurements, cycle entries if you turn that module on, the conditions you selected, your display name and birth year, and everything the app works out from those entries. Other apps on your phone cannot read it. Deleting the app deletes it.

Apple Health and iCloud

The app can read sleep, steps, resting heart rate, and heart rate variability from Apple Health. The connection is read-only, the app never writes to Apple Health, and it is off until you turn it on in Settings. You can revoke access in the Health app under Sharing, then Apps and Services.

The app can also back your data up to your own private iCloud storage, in a container belonging to this app. That backup lives in your Apple account, under Apple's terms, and we have no access to it.

Analytics, crashes, and purchases

Like most apps, Stabilize Health uses standard third-party services to process App Store purchases and, where enabled, to measure app usage, report crashes, and attribute installs. What those services receive is technical and commercial only: app version, device model, anonymous identifiers, which screens were opened, coarse counts, crash reports, and App Store purchase events.

Your health entries are never sent to any of them. A filter runs on every outgoing event and strips health details before they leave the device, including symptom names and severities, exact dates, cycle lengths, diagnosis status, medication and supplement names, lab values, and anything you typed. None of these services are used to advertise to you based on your health.

We process this data to provide the app you bought and to keep it working. Anything that would use an advertising identifier asks for your permission first and stays off until you give it.

Notifications

Check-in reminders are scheduled by your phone, on your phone. There is no push server. Reminder text is deliberately neutral and never names a symptom or a condition. You can turn reminders off in the app or in iOS Settings.

Getting your data out, and deleting it

Retention

Your health data stays on your device for as long as you keep it, and no longer. We hold no copies of it. The limited non-health data above is kept only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for.

Children

Stabilize Health is intended for people aged 17 and over. The app asks for a birth year during setup and will not proceed for anyone under 17. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child. If you believe a child has used the app, email us and we will help.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to certain processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email help@8oclock.co and we will respond within the time your law allows.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
